INTERNET RUNNING CLUB: Wake up, Internet Running Club!
As you may have noticed, the Internet Running Club has become more or less inactive over the last several months. What do you guys say we change that? I need to get back to running regularly myself and I know I could use the support.
Let’s all take a moment to reintroduce ourselves. When you get a chance, fill out and post this little questionnaire so we can all get acquainted again:

- Why do you run? A little over a year ago i decided i was getting unacceptably overweight. Lucky for me, i’d just moved to a climate where i could exercise outdoors pretty much year round. Not only is running a great source of exercise, but its extremely challenging…i know i can always run faster, longer, and gain mental toughness.
- What are your current running goals? As part of my promise to myself to get in shape, i also took up triathlons. In ‘09 my run pace (the last leg of the race) was typically between 8:30-9:00 minutes/mile. For 2010, i’d like to move up to olympic distance triathlons when available, and run at an 8:00 min/mile pace or faster
- What do you want out of the Internet Running Club? Do you have any suggestions to make it better or more useful? Well let’s face it…its always nice to hear someone tell you “good job!” Support is great, and hopefully i can find a few other people in my area to go run with when our schedules permit!
